I decided to enroll in this program, not knowing what to expect. The application process was super easy and straightforward. I applied back in February 2022, by filling out a quick form, and shortly after I was contacted to schedule a discovery call. Days after the call, I was admitted into the program.
The curriculum covered the essential topics and really prepared me for my first job in tech sales. After finishing the program, I was paired with a career coach. I have to say, the instructors and career coach were amazing. They were passionate about helping me succeed. All in all, I would highly recommend this program to anyone who wants to start a career in tech sales!

 

Hello. I finished the introduction course and had a wonderful time.  The instructors were very knowledgeable and were very patient when I asked questions. They really took the time to break down complicated concepts into ways that I could understand completely. I would totally recommend the introduction course to anyone interested in web development.

After working in the non-profit sector for over a decade, I was considering a career switch. The only area that appealed to me was cybersecurity even though I am a novice when it comes to computers. However, my limited knowledge of computers did not deter me from pursuing my quest in cybersecurity. I was determined to learn new and valuable skills to get into the cybersecurity space with the hopes of carving a new career path.

I chose the Washington University in Saint Louis Bootcamp because I live in Saint Louis and also because of the good reviews they have.
I am currently in the middle of my program. I wasn't sure I could get this far but for the enormous support and quality of delivery from my instructor, I am determined to graduate. The instructor is very knowledgeable in the course and provides every student with the needed attention. From where I started, with no experience in scripting and coding, I have learned a lot of skills. My favorite aspects of the program are Linux command line, Windows Administration, Networking, and cloud computing. I also appreciate the career guidance and assistance the program offers.

My Advice for prospective students: be determined and come prepared. Take every class and module seriously as they are very linked. The pre-work assignments are very important leading into the program. Be open-minded and participate in class.

I am truly delighted to join European Tech School, and be a part of its 6th Cohort. As a Banking and Finance specialist, I see that blockchain technology is currently the future investment tool which will be a part of several sectors especially the fintech sector.

Now it's 10 weeks after joining the Certified Blockchain Course, where I grasped a deeper understanding of the crypto space, and discovered how this Knowledge and technology is being applied into several sectors and industries in all aspects.

It has narrowed the gap between what is being there in the news and what is actually being implemented on ground. Additionally, it has been a great experience to meet new passionate people about blockchain technology and share my thoughts through a real life applied science.

Los profesores fueron muy amables y atentos, nos ayudaron en todo. Yo encontré trabajo incluso antes de haber terminado el bootcamp, en un puesto que conseguí por una recomendación de la escuela. ¡No puedo estar más agradecida a Carlos y a todo su equipazo!

Hay que hacer mucho trabajo durante el bootcamp pero es increíble lo que se aprende en tan poco tiempo.

Tech Joy was the second bootcamp I enrolled in.  I was looking for a job and not having much luck, so I decided to try it because it included an internship.  It was worth every penny!  I was able to learn my second programming language as well as experienced being a part of a team, using a ticketing system and collaborating on GitHub.   The Discord server was also a great place for networking with other techies with its welcoming atmosphere.  Best of all, after being in the program for 7 months, I found a paid apprenticeship in tech!   I highly recommend Tech Joy Academy! 

   The instructors are good, and they are actually working in the fields that they are teaching. They share a lot of information, give real world examples and put a bit of themselves into each class. After graduation, Fullstack does offer resume and interview assistance. You will learn a lot of really good and useful tools and information.
   I was working a full-time 40+ hour job while doing this online part-time bootcamp and wasn't able to do any school work while at my full-time job. Because of this I found it very difficult to keep up with the course work. They give you a lot of great information but it comes fast and it doesn't stop. I like to compare it to a speeding train and you're holding on but the train doesn't stop, it keeps flying down the track. If I fell behind, it was nearly impossible for me to catch up. I inquired about extra help but was denied and told that the 20 minutes of office hours, every 2 weeks, was enough (it wasn't). I understand they are revamping the process and offering longer office hours, so maybe that will help.  I reached out to the Student Success Manager (SSM) but it seems as though they don't care if you're succeeding, just if you're failing or not. Except for the handful of quizzes in the beginning, I failed every test and yet some how I passed and graduated. It seemed that most of my cohort classmates didn't have a job or had a part-time job or a job where they could do class work when they were at their jobs. If one of those options is your situation, I say go for it, but if you are in my situation, it's going to be really difficult. It was for me anyway.
   I think the ultimate success of this bootcamp is if I can get a job in the field of study. I graduated a couple weeks ago and still job hunting, so I can't really say if the bootcamp was a success or not. Working a part-time job while working a full-time job feels like 2 full-time jobs, so before you sign-up, think about your situation carefully and whether you have the time and energy to keep up with the pace for 6 months.
