Founded in 2012, Coding Dojo is a global technology education company that offers programs in Software Development and Data Science. Students can choose to learn coding languages in Python, JavaScript, Java and C#/.NET Core, or dig deeper into data and visualization in Python. In addition to an extensive curriculum, students collaborate with peers, join interactive lectures with instructors, have unlimited support from career services, and access to Teaching Assistants seven days a week.
To apply, candidates need to apply, schedule an interview with admissions, and pay a deposit to secure their placement once accepted.
Since 2012, Coding Dojo has endeavored to help individuals from a variety of backgrounds and skill levels transform into professional technology professionals. Coding Dojo also offers unlimited career services, including one-on-one sessions with a career services manager, open forums with industry leaders, and comprehensive job preparation.
Coding Dojo provides scholarships for Career Reinvention, Women in Tech, Military, Diversity, and Kickstart to qualifying students.

Coding Dojo offers an extensive course in building code in multiple languages. They teach you the basics, but then move you through more advanced study, by building actual programs. The curriculum is extensive and the instructors are very helpful, supplemented by TA's who are able to help you find answers on your own. It is a difficult course. Excellent School
My experience from initial contact through graduation was great. Very prompt, professional, and helpful staff. They even found an answer to my question about which language was the most popular in scientific research (I am an aspiring physicist and inventor), which I don't imagine gets asked too much (I think most folks want to go into commercial tech and not science). They ensured I got put into the class for that language (Python). Instructors and TAs both were very knowledgeable and helpful. The academic standards are high, but fair and realistic. For example, exams consist of having 5 hours to build a completely functional front and back end application based on the info they give you. That's a lot, but exams are also open source and they will nudge you along in the right direction if they detect you know the info, or tell you where on the learning platform/recorded lecture videos to look for the answer (they don't expect a student to be able to do all this from memory after only a few weeks of exposure). Career Services (optional) has been helpful with resume help and interview prep, there also a lot of resources and training they will give you in that regard too.

The Data Science program offered by Coding Dojo is rigorous but very rewarding and so worth the time and money spent! For now, I believe they have one data science instructor, Noelle and she's amazing!!!! Very helpful with explaining topics clearly, always offered a lot of support, and just wanted you to succeed! There is no such thing as a dumb question so make the most out of attending office hours and you will do great!
As someone that is brand new to the field of Data Science, there is a lot you can add to your resume (tools, projects, portfolio)! I have to say though there's not enough support for job hunting after the program. I like that they offer career services but it's more for students that have graduated from the coding workshops. They don't have enough individuals that have experience as a Data Scientist to offer detailed workshops.
Once I graduated I walked out with a lot of knowledge that I couldn't have done through self-studying and confidence to apply for jobs as a Data Scientist. Through the community of Coding Dojo, you build so many connections that stick even after the bootcamp. My advice is to make the most of the 12 weeks! Always reach out for help, dedicate time every day so you don't fall behind, and enjoy the process. No Regrets - Best Bootcamp Around
I had tried a lot of self paced bootcamps and courses before Coding Dojo's Part Time Data Science Bootcamp, and I either quit due to being very confused and left without access to help, or I quit because the content was so long, drawn out and boring that I just couldn't pay attention.
Coding Dojo's style was perfect for me. Short explanations, decent code examples and then tons of immediate practice followed by a solution on completion of an assignment so you can immediately gauge...I had tried a lot of self paced bootcamps and courses before Coding Dojo's Part Time Data Science Bootcamp, and I either quit due to being very confused and left without access to help, or I quit because the content was so long, drawn out and boring that I just couldn't pay attention.

The instructor COULD NOT HAVE BEEN MORE AMAZING!!!! She was always helpful, never got frustrated with repetitive or 'dumb' questions, and gave positive reinforcement and encouragement regularly.
For what we were able to cover, I felt I grasped the content well enough to be able to venture out on my own. Worth it
I do not have a CS background. However, I always wanted to learn to code to build cool websites.
There are many coding boot camps in LA, and I had to figure out which is going to right for me. After COVID-19, everything became online courses, that's when I found Coding Dojo and I decided to go with them.
The reason why I chose Coding Dojo was, they teach three full stack languages. I always wanted to learn Python, Java, and JavaScript even when I did not know about them. Beca...I do not have a CS background. However, I always wanted to learn to code to build cool websites.
There are many coding boot camps in LA, and I had to figure out which is going to right for me. After COVID-19, everything became online courses, that's when I found Coding Dojo and I decided to go with them.
The reason why I chose Coding Dojo was, they teach three full stack languages. I always wanted to learn Python, Java, and JavaScript even when I did not know about them. Because when I see some jobs in the tech industry, they always say they want someone who knows Python and Java. Though JavaScript is so popular, every other coding boot camp teaches it.
I've searched and read many reviews on a couple of different sites to find if any women graduated left reviews. I found some women reviews and that really helped.
When I decided to start, they asked me if I can really commit at least 70 hours per week, and I said yes. From the start, it was very challenging and I had to push myself 100%. This coding boot camp is no joke. You really got to want it and have passion for it and think about why you are doing this all the time.
And many times, you will feel like this is maybe not for you or you are just not as smart as other guys in the class. Everyone has that moment, and you are learning something very new, you will feel like that regardless. Just trust yourself and push it, you will be alright.
From my experience, I'm really glad that I chose Coding Dojo because I gained so much knowledge and skills that I would never able to gain by myself watching Youtube. If it worked for me, it would work for you too.

Overall I enjoyed my time at coding dojo. I must say there are going to be waves. At first you are excited and eagered to learn, but then it will get really hard and frustrating, then you will make friends and help each other along the way, then something magical happenes in your 3rd stack, it starts to click, you start to understand coding alot better. Its really such a great thing when you stick it out till the end, make good friends and learn a great skill. It really will be up to you...Overall I enjoyed my time at coding dojo. I came from a background of no coding whatsoever and it was tough but not impossible. As I went through each stack things got a little easier in that you start seeing familiar concepts just in a different language, but even then 12 hour days and longer was the norm. I asked for help so much and that in itself was a learning experience because I never had to ask for help for most of my traditional schooling. Pride be damned asking for help is encouraged and you will need to get over it when you attend such a tough bootcamp like Coding Dojo. Stay on task, get with your instructors and ta's and get with your cohorts. This bootcamp is both intimidating and inspiring, due to the amount of material you are exposed to. The lectures help to solidify the reading material on the learning platform and give practical examples for the programming languages. Best 14 Weeks!
I have always been interested in coding, but came from a background with little to no tech experience. A friend of mine had completed Coding Dojo and spoke so highly of it, so I attended an open house and was convinced from there on out.
From the open house up until graduation day, I received an immense amount of support from all the staff involved- you could say that I was setup for success from the start. From setting up realistic payment plans or asking for help on...I have always been interested in coding, but came from a background with little to no tech experience. A friend of mine had completed Coding Dojo and spoke so highly of it, so I attended an open house and was convinced from there on out.
From the open house up until graduation day, I received an immense amount of support from all the staff involved- you could say that I was setup for success from the start. From setting up realistic payment plans or asking for help on an assignment, it was nice knowing that I had such a large support system guiding me through the entire bootcamp.
Although the 14 weeks were challenging, I learned so much about myself and my abilities that I didn't realize I had before. Not only did my communication and time management skills improve, I can now proudly say that I am a Full Stack Developer.
If you are willing to put in the time and effort, I would absolutely recommend this program to anyone.
