SheCodes
SheCodes is a technical skill training provider for women offering online, hands-on coding workshops and a self-paced Professional Developer Bootcamp. The workshops and bootcamp are flexible and designed to fit around a student’s schedule, moving away from traditional, rigid learning methods. The bootcamp curriculum covers HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Python, OOP, AI, and more. The workshops cover how to effectively communicate with developers, how to become a front end developer, advanced Python skills, and how to break into tech. Students learn through bite-size lessons followed by practical challenges to reinforce their learning. Each week, professional developers review homework assignments. At the end of each workshop, students will build real-life projects like websites and web applications to add to their professional portfolio and impress future employers.
All of SheCodes workshops are beginner-friendly and self-paced. Women of any age are welcome to enroll. There are various packages that students can purchase depending on their coding needs and existing skill level.
At SheCodes, students have access to an online community of 200,000 women technologists. Students who complete the Professional Developer Bootcamp will receive a Verified Diploma upon graduation.

Great fundamental course!
SheCodes Basic course is a great initial step not only for me but also for a lot of other women. Each lesson was designed with a suitable duration and really helpful challenges that will help learners review what was taught, research more information and gain more knowledge. I did the free workshop on a whim because coding has always intrigued me, but I thought it was really maths-heavy. Online coding class
The workshop was amazing. I really enjoyed seeing my work come to life. Loved having the slack chat at my fingertips every time I found myself stuck. The coders there helped me very quickly and so did other students. Matt's teaching made it easy to understand and loved the detail and shortcuts he gave. Great course!
I took an intro course to coding (html, css, JavaScript). I am a total beginner who was always curious what coding it. Prior to this course I tried to learn by reading books and watching videos but nothing made sense. Matt and his team are very friendly. The course has dead lines but they are very flexible. You can always get an extension if something is going wrong and you cant finish on time. I also enjoyed a radio that Matt has on his website!
