At 28 deciding to change careers can be a tricky business but I could not be happier with my decision. The course was quite challenging at times but I was a able to land my first developer role before I even graduated! The tutors are amazing and always there to help and the careers department is amazing and helped me a lot with great feedback about my cv and job applications. 

As someone who had zero knowledge about coding, FSA was an excellent introduction to programming. Although the program was quite fast-paced, especially for those who are beginning, I appreciate how devoted the instructors and their assistants are to helping everyone.  Besides the phenomenal instructors and their aide, the fellow students you meet always make learning fun especially since the whole class all are reaching the same goals. You meet a class of experienced and inexperienced students willing to learn from each other which showcase during the final group project. FSA doesn't teach you specific technical skills, but also soft skills by preparing you post-graduation. FSA provides its students with a career coach who guides each student with tips and lectures on navigating a world post-graduate. I recommend FSA to students who are eager to learn the fundamental of programming, willing to commit their time and taking each day 1% to grow. I want to give a shout-out to Alex and Elliot (my instructors), Elle (instructor aide), and Laura(career coach), thank you for believing in us. 

Very good programming school allowing you to become a top 1% engineer and land a high paying job in very good companies. 

Also teach you incredible useful top skills that you won't learn anywhere else as the school system and curriculum is very unique

You will need to be able to work 60+ hours a week and connect with your fellow student if you want to succeed here.

The school lacks a bit of framing, you can rely only on your work ethic and the black hole pressure (ejection system for the student that can't keep up with the pace)

I learned coding at Nebula, I was part of the first bootcamp. It was not easy at the beginning but it was amazing to see all you can do with a few lines of codes and that changed everything. I also learned many other skills among them, problem solving which is very important because it will help you in your entire life either you are in technology or not. Great online environment and support learning, great teachers, great school.

Qwasar Silicon Valley was founded by a team of dedicated and genuinely thoughtful technologists who believe in the power of learning through experience, not lectures or textbooks.  The more you put into this program, the more you will get out of it.   Support is available for questions of all types  - from fundamentals to more advanced CS topics.  There is a diverse student body that is eager to learn and support one another, and peer-based project reviews help students both learn to take constructive criticism and to digest and comment intelligently on someone else's code.  The connections with numerous companies (in the Bay Area and across the globe) help students to open doors and find meaningful employment, and as the program progresses there is a good amount of interview prep which is very practical.  I strongly recommend this program for students of all abilities who truly wish to further their technical knowledge and build a solid foundation for a career in any part of the tech industry.

CodeBound doesn't claim to fix your life, and It doesn't guarantee a long, successful career in the field. What it does offer is a chance to learn the skills that are building the modern world.

From day one we were told that we would only get out of this course what we were willing to put into it; Something they reiterated at every new technology learned. Still, they offered one-on-one tutoring for those who needed it, and were always active on slack even late at night where I would sometimes be stuck on an exercise that I couldn't finish in class and needed to reach out.

In addition to learning the technologies used in the industry, we also learned about the 'best practices' of the Software Engineering world, and mindsets and strategies to help us tackle the challenges placed on us during the class; The most important ones - in my opinion - being

"Taking a break is the easiest way to keep yourself from burning out",
"Learn your team's strengths so you know where to go when you need help and their weaknesses so you can help build them up",
and - Most importantly - "There's very few wrong ways to solve a problem."

Even when COVID-19 hit and on-site operations were halted in the interest of public health, We moved our courses online, extended our timeline (1 extra week to make sure we were adjusted for remote learning), and even adjusted our start times to make sure everyone was in the best position to continue learning.

I came out of CodeBound with a job offer I graciously accepted and have been leading my own development team since Day 1.

And for some of the other reviews left here; I came into CodeBound not knowing anything more than some basic HTML and CSS and now I'm pioneering functionality on a multi-million dollar project all thanks to the knowledge of my instructors and the first-hand, real world experience obtained as part of CodeBound.

TechSwitch was a fantastic learning experience for me. The course covers a raft of common languages to expose you to the full  development stack. Best of all, the projects are very hands-on and practical. Time spent learning useless theory or memorisation is kept to an absolute minimum. The teachers are super helpful and supportive. If you get the chance to enter this bootcamp, consider yourself extremely lucky as they will groom you to have job ready skills. I have learnt a lot from this place especially in Web development on the backend and mobile development. Prior to joining I only know basic HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. After joining this bootcamp, I am verse on the application of web frameworks such as ReactJS, VueJS  NodeJS, Laravel as well as Ionic and Flutter Mobile frameworks. The trick into succeeding is to finish those projects. Those are what will strengthen your core foundation. The instructors are very keen to help you to succeed provided that you do not give up as soon as you encounter problems. Practice is also the key. It is recommended you do review of what you learn after the lectures and practice sessions. The lessons are tailored so that any beginner can learn easily. From this bootcamp alone, I was lucky enough to get a scholarship to study while working in Web development from a recognized training institution. As long you are committed enough you will also get this same opportunity. 

Tech Joy was the second bootcamp I enrolled in.  I was looking for a job and not having much luck, so I decided to try it because it included an internship.  It was worth every penny!  I was able to learn my second programming language as well as experienced being a part of a team, using a ticketing system and collaborating on GitHub.   The Discord server was also a great place for networking with other techies with its welcoming atmosphere.  Best of all, after being in the program for 7 months, I found a paid apprenticeship in tech!   I highly recommend Tech Joy Academy!
