Chegg Skills (formerly Thinkful) provides every adult learner with a pathway to a rewarding career. This online bootcamp offers fast-paced, career-focused programs in Software Engineering, Data Science, Data Analytics, UX/UI Design, Digital Marketing, and Technical Project Management. These programs are offered in part-time and full-time formats. Students commit 20-25 hours per week in the part-time format, and up to 60 hours in the full-time option. All programs include personal mentor meetings, a custom-built curriculum, and Q&A sessions with industry professionals.
On top of learning the most up-to-date industry skills, students benefit from 1-on-1 mentorship, and receive career support from the day they enroll. Students continue to get personalized support from a dedicated career coach for six months after graduation, or until they’re hired. Each student graduates with a professional portfolio, interview experience, and the tools they need to navigate the job market. Students join a community of 3,000+ learners and mentors to get on-demand help and build a professional network.
Chegg Skills also offers an expanding list of flexible payment options. Students are empowered to balance life and learning, and can complete any of the part-time programs even if they plan to keep working in an existing job. They can access course materials from anywhere in the world.

UX/UI Design Flex Program
I completed the flex program and I didn’t have the easiest time learning due to the fact that it was all online and I didn’t really get to interact with other students. I wish I had the opportunity to work with engineers for example to better strengthen my design communication for future jobs. However, the staff is quite knowledgeable and helpful. It can be a pretty big learning curve if you have no design background, but I would say it’s really doable. UX/UI Design Immersion Program
The Thinkful program for UX/UI was amazing. I reviewed many other schools and chose Thinkful because of it's great financing options, and for the scholarship they offered. It is great that Thinkful supports women in tech. The academic success team is very responsive, and the one-on-one mentorship was very helpful. Great post-graduate support as well for the alumnis to land a job. Full Time Software Engineering
The 6-month long program is intensive and packed full of material. I found the full-time program to work best for me as I learn best in a structured environment and don't think I would have done well in a flexible program (as the flex program requires a lot more self-motivation in my opinion). I learned a TON of basics and I feel like Thinkful gave me a great foundation to start a career upon (sometimes I felt like I was learning so much that knowledge was seeping from my pores). A Life Changing Experience

Best Course - very up to date
I finished Thinkful's Fullstack Developer course and loved it. It was full of up to date knowledge and the mentors are so helpful. There were so many resources to help explain content and I was truly prepared after the course to do code tests and really function as a developer. Overall a Positive Experience
My experience in the UX/UI design flex program was overall really great and definitely worth the money. It was difficult to work full time while completing the program at the same time, but it is doable. The more effort you put into the program, the more you'll get out of it. My mentor always had good feedback, and the career coach after I graduated provided invaluable resources that really helped in finding positions to apply to.
